The service is amazing Jose and Brian are so accommodating the only thing we need back is the tuna tuna tuna roll and the roulette roll please bring them back please please please please please come here all the time!!!!

Beach views. Nice ambiance with fun lighting. Has a variety of food. All American dishes as well as seafood. Different steak cuts, fish, and sushi. Happy hour with half price apps and $13 cocktails. Able to accommodate allergies. Great service!

Can't beat the view but our drinks were just OK. My mai tai looked promising with the rum floater but ultimately failed to deliver. Not the best margarita for my wife but not bad either. Friendly bartender and fast service. We'll try some different drink options next time.

Stumbled on this place while walking looking for lunch. I sar outside, the views were amazing. I will say the service was soooooo slow. It took over 10 min just for my drink order. I ordered the passion fruit margarita which was really good. For food I got a burger with truffle fries. It was soooo good 10/10. I ended with an espresso martini which was delicious. The food and drinks made up for the mediocre service.

This review is long overdue! I've dined at the restaurant several times and had more than a few drinks at the bar and would highly recommend JRDN. The staff is great and everything we ate was well plated and tasted amazing (get the sashimi & the mussels). You can't beat those views of the beach. We actually stumbled upon this restaurant while we were searching for a private area to have an intimate wedding and reception (about 30 people). We had been to quite a few places in San Diego but this felt right for us. I can't say enough about how amazing our experience was. Robby and his team were great with communication and consistently went above and beyond for us. He offered great tips we hadn't thought of and always said yes to even the smallest requests. JTDN is very lucky to have him on their staff. I'd highly recommend their event room with private patio for an amazing dinning experience for a special event or group dinner. Can't wait to go back!

Amazing place really. View and menu. The music was way too loud throughout the whole restaurant. The fish were cooked plain, but the sides were 100/10 The server was very nice and accommodating and even got us a birthday treat. It's a hard vote for this because we loved the area and food sides and coffee but the fish should've been done better and the music should not sound like a club - I'd like to give a 3.5 if I could Mac and cheese side, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, GARLIC FRIES amazing

I recently dined at JRDN and had a fantastic experience. The food was exceptional, particularly the roulette roll and the short rib bucatini. The restaurant's location near the beach offers a gorgeous view, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food and the stunning setting make it well worth the cost. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable meal by the beach.

We love to travel to San Diego/mission beach and when we come here we HAVE to go to JRDN at least 2-3 times during our trip. The atmosphere is the best with the ocean views, service is amazing, and the food is perfect. They used to have the best chocolate croissant bread pudding that was to die for but the pastry chef went to Boston, however if they ever get it back it is a must get. Sushi is perfect, and we cannot recommend enough.

Came here for a sunset dinner but unfortunately it ended up drizzling and we couldn't watch the sunset. I made the reservation outdoors a month prior and thankfully the hostess was able to sit us inside. However we were sat right under a vent so it was quite chilly. The oysters were a great deal and we went at 5pm so they still had happy hour for drinks! The short rib bucatini was delicious
